The Countervirus campaign's primary goal is to show how more than ever, our actions matter. As an out of home movement, Countervirus puts forth an urgent message showing how the choices we make can help spread the virus, or they can help stop it. The campaign was released in 13 countries, including the United States, Japan, China, Indonesia, Korea, Mexico, and the UK. By sharing information, practicing social distancing, and giving our medical professionals a fighting chance, we can help slow the spread of COVID-19.
Tasked with developing the campaign imagery and social content, I helped create an illustrative style that falls into 3 categories: 1) isometric in nature, reminiscent of informational schematics 2) flat and simple, to portray messages in the most digestible manner and 3) illustrative and metaphorical, primarily reserved for social platforms for maximum engagement.
